Has there been a time in your life where you felt frustrated with trying so hard to reach your goals? You want to see some changes in your life but you can't seem to do it. Perhaps your fears are holding you back. Then it's time to change your mindset of success.
You may have heard people talk about mindset of success. It is indeed true that the kind of
mindset you have influences your behaviour and actions. Before you know more about mindset the (new psychology of success), you have to conquer your fears first.
MINDSET
When we talk about fears, it does not mean your fears of failure, we are talking about your fears of success. Yes, surprisingly, we all have fears of success. However, contrary to having a positive mindset, our fears of success can lead to our downfall.
In order to conquer these fears of success, you have to know and accept what these fears are. In that way, you can acquire a positive mindset and the success you are seeking.
Mindset the New Psychology of Success vs the Five Fears of Success.
The "Five Fears of Success" are:
1. Fear of the unknown. "I don't know what it would be like to be in a loving relationship or successful career."
It is not unusual for us to have this fear. This fear is what usually stops us from moving forward. So if you want to be successful, you must have the courage and mindset to help you overcome the fear of the unknown.
2. Fear that success doesn't fit one's self image…e.g. "What's a poor girl from Brooklyn doing in an exclusive social club in California?"
You can never be successful if you constantly think of what other people would say about you. This negates the idea of a mindset for success. How you perceive yourself is how other people perceive you
3. Fear that people will not like you if you are successful…e.g. "If I'm successful in my career, no man will want me."
True, men are often times intimidated by successful women. However, if you dream of having both a great love and career, you must start changing the way you think and develop a positive mindset of success.
4. Fear that you don't deserve success…e.g. "I feel guilty because I once stole money from my parents."
It is not healthy to dwell on past mistakes. According to great authors about mindset of success, everyone commits mistakes, and as long as you acknowledge that mistake, apologise to the people you have hurt, then you can move on and make your life better.
5. Fear that success has a scary consequence…e.g. "If I get the promotion, I won't have enough time to spend with my family."
The thought of being successful is a bit overwhelming. However, if you are equipped with a mindset the new psychology of success, you have nothing to worry about.
These are just some fears of success that might prevent you from reaching your goals and becoming successful. In the study of mindset the new psychology of success, you cannot achieve success if you let your fears take hold of you and your life. So be optimistic and take control of your life by having a positive mindset of success.

You are so right, Drew! If we keep telling ourselves why we can’t or shouldn’t meet our goals, we will find a way to fail to do so.

Hi Drew,
a great take. Fear of success is less obvious, but especially because of that dangerous. It leads to failure because our subsconscious “helps” us avoid success.
Thanks for sharing.
Take care
